







In 1994, Bruno and Sybille du Parc settled in Zambia to develop forestry activities.
Touched by a population seeking to get out of poverty without having the means to do so, seduced by the wisdom and the determination of these people, they decided to put their time and their contribution to some projects.
« Abantu » means « people » in Zambian and refers to the movement that the Zambian people initiated.
This movement kept growing since 1994 and gave rise to lots of interest in Europe as well. Abantu Zambia, a Belgian charity has been incorporated in 2004.
Today, Abantu’s projects allowed 6,000 children to go to school We have worked with 20 villages and have a partnership with 15 villages; our action benefits to approximately 50,000 inhabitants and cover areas such as agriculture, healthcare, education, access to water, financing of small projects.…
